Hey folks!
Barry's Tips
Now that we are into the really cold months of winter fishing in Alabama, I don't think anyone can give you any fool proof method of fishing. So to help me better understand winter fishing I am going to ask for your help. What would you do? Start to finish, what time of day seems to be the best for you? What baits have been successful? What type of structure seems to be the best? How often do go? Do you fish shallow or deep? What do think a successful day on the lake would consist of or how many fish do you catch on a good day? It is really hard to give advice on fishing unless you know what your readers are doing. I think this will help every fisherman in Alabama and, most of all, our readers. The last trip I went on the temperature was fifty eight degrees, no wind, and cloudy day. Seem to be the perfect day to fish, but we finished the day with one fish. I guess we fished with everything in the box - jerk baits, worms, jigs, crank baits, and spoons. The only fish we caught was on a Carolina rigged worm. If you can give some insight on winter fishing I will pass it on to others so that we all can become better fishermen - which is why Ed and I started this web site. You really don't have to give up your deep dark secrets you hold near and dear, just some tips for a good day of fishing. Email me or Ed at Bamabassfishing.com.
Be safe and stay warm!!!
