Fishing Lure KnotsThe Rapala KnotThere are many fishing lure knots that you can use while on the water. But there is one knot in particular that allows your lures to move freely and unimpeded by the knot you tie. That knot is the Rapala Knot.
Step 1 Tie an overhand knot. Leave 5" of free end. Run free end through the eyelet.
Run free end back through overhand knot.
Wrap free end around standing part of line 3 times.
Thread free end through back of overhand knot.
Pass free end through loop that is formed.
Moisten line and draw up tight. Trim excess.
And there you have it. One of the most effective fishing knots you can use. It is to your advantage to learn the Rapala Knot for those days when you need your lure to swim as pure as it possibly can. Thanks for reading. Good Fishing.
