BamaBassFishing.com is dedicated to bringing anglers of all levels of experience together to share information and ideas about bass fishing in Alabama. I will be researching and gathering information from many sources to bring you the most accurate and up to date knowledge on the subject of bass fishing.

My name is Ed Majors and I love bass fishing! I live in the Birmingham, Alabama area - voted "America's Bass Capital" by B.A.S.S. anglers all over the world! I am fortunate to have an abundance of lakes to fish and enjoy being on the water as often as possible. In addition to information on Alabama bass fishing, I will be providing info on local water conditions, lunar tables, hotel and motel accommodations, camping etc. As the owner and developer of BamaBassFishing.com, I am always willing to help with your questions.

Our Local Expert

I will be enlisting the services of my regular fishing and tournament partner, Barry Brasher, to assist me in the development of this website. Barry is very knowledgeable

about not only bass fishing but also crappie and striper fishing and is considered by many a "local expert." He will be helping me answer your questions and will be writing many of the articles you will find here, as well as helping with our current Newsletter. Barry has taught me most of what I know about bass fishing and his expertise and knowledge of the local fishing scene will be invaluable to you.

My purpose here is to create a site for those avid anglers who are aspiring to become professionals, as well as everyday people with families, who fit their fishing in when they can. BamaBassFishing.com wants to be your #1 source on bass fishing in Alabama. Real tips from real people, not just those being tested out on the tournament trail. No matter if you fish daily, weekly, or even once a year (poor fella), I will have something to improve your catch.
